PRO24 is a versatile browser-based system that includes a wide range of safety tools. For example, customers can choose to use tools such as document management, incident management and chemical management.
– I personally use the program to evaluate our operations. We use it to process our safety observations, which some customers submit on a monthly basis. I also use the training registry, which helps ensure that our employees’ training remains up to date at all times, says the project manager Antti Ylitalo.
– The lists of chemicals are also an important part that workers need to have access to. These are also available in the programme,” Ylitalo continues. 
Growth can be achieved in a short timeframe
Over the past three years, Adolf Lahti has grown rapidly. Previously based in Kokkola and Pietarsaari, the company has opened new offices in Äänekoski, Pori, Heinola, Kärköl, Kotka, Varkaus, Vuosaari and Oulu.
– Protect has kept up well with growth. We have needed some additional services from them and have extended the use of PRO24 to other branches. All of this has been achieved in a very short timeframe.
– With this concept, we can replicate the operation in every branch so that it remains as similar as possible,” says Ylitalo.
More flexibility and free resources
Protect’s experts have also been involved in the development of new ideas and concepts. According to Ylitalo, this expert service has been the most important thing for Adolf Lahti.
– We need certain standards by which to operate. They help us with planning and, for example, with the permitting process,” says Ylitalo.
– Working with Protect has streamlined our operations and freed up our resources. They provide us with reliable information, which is already so much added value that I feel it is extremely important,” concludes Ylitalo.
