At Protect, responsibility is a central part of our daily operations. Protecti's management system is based on the ISO 9001 quality management system and ISO 45001 health and safety management system, and our long-term efforts to improve our own operations have earned us ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 certifications. Protect has been awarded the Key Flag by the Finnish Working Environment Federation as a mark of service produced in Finland and employing people in Finland.
Responsibility as part of Protect's operations
In 2021, Protect has carried out a comprehensive survey on the current state of corporate responsibility. The study examined the company's impact on various stakeholders and society, as well as how the various aspects of corporate responsibility are taken into account in Protect's management system. Based on this study, Protect has identified the material positive and negative impacts on different stakeholders and has coordinated its activities to manage the most material impacts. Protect's mission is to safeguard human well-being, business and the environment, which is also a key driver of the company's sustainability work. Sustainability work is a key part of the continuous improvement cycle of quality management that guides the company's activities.
Social responsibility
In particular, the key impacts of the company are related to social responsibility, with an emphasis on staff well-being and quality customer service. The company undertakes a wide range of activities to promote well-being at work and aims to foster a good and respectful working atmosphere. Respect for people and their diversity is an important part of the business. A key aspect of the management of the company is that management acts as an enabler of expert work. Trust and open and transparent communication were highlighted as important cross-cutting principles in management. Good and respectful customer service is also a key element of social responsibility. The company strives for honesty and openness in customer relations, so that customer needs can be met accurately.
