Ville Hyytiäinen joins Protect as a security expert

Ville Hyytiäinen (YAMK in Security) started working in our Helsinki office as a security specialist in September. He decided to apply to Protect after receiving a recommendation from the company.

- It's an interesting company and I'm certainly interested in this area of business safety - especially in the areas of fire safety and health and safety at work. Someone who had worked for the company before recommended Protect as an employer, which confirmed my own thoughts. Ville's work has always involved working at the customer interface with internal and external customers. "I find it energising to stimulate a desire to promote safety in my environment. I also worked as a supervisor for the authority, but as a supervisor I always felt that I was kind of left in the middle. I could not compromise the authority's claim to independence and I often felt that I could have done more to help. Ville has a versatile approach to the corporate security field. He has previously worked as a fire inspector, a senior fire inspector, a contingency planner, a safety and risk management coordinator and a health and safety manager. He has 20 years of experience in both the private and public sectors. - I have worked as an expert at both strategic and operational levels. I'm persistent and get along with everyone. New things don't excite me when I have the basic skills in place. These qualities are useful when working with complex issues. We'll see where the path takes us," says Ville, adding that his goal is to take on new tasks quickly so that I can deliver value to customers.
