Riikka Pelkonen as Safety and Quality Specialist at Protect

In September, Protect recruited two people to strengthen the expert team in Northern Finland and the sales team. Riikka Pelkonen from Kaustis joined the Kokkola office as a safety and quality specialist.

Riikka She has about 10 years of experience in development roles in the food industry. In her most recent position, she worked as a development manager, responsible for food safety, quality, occupational safety, environmental issues, and product development. “It was time to try something new,” Riikka says with a chuckle, adding that she was looking for more variety in her work and a team of colleagues doing similar work. “My areas of expertise are food safety and quality assurance.” My extensive experience in development management positions provides me with a strong foundation for success and growth in the role of a safety and quality specialist. Now I want to apply my expertise not only in the food industry but also in other sectors.
