Protect's subsidiary Protect Estonia strengthened its position in the Estonian market

  SK Protect Oy's Estonian subsidiary Protect Estonia Oü has acquired the business of Riskianalüüs Oü on 1 June 2020. Protect , a Finnish specialist in safety and quality management, is the majority shareholder of Protect Estonia. In the transaction, Protect Estonia acquired the entire business of the leading Estonian occupational safety and health expert company and strengthened its position in the Estonian market. In the transaction, 8 employees joined the company, based in Tallinn and Tartu. Kristjan Puustusmaa, CEO of Protect Estonia, sees a clear demand for quality and safety expertise and partnership in the Estonian market. Protect has been able to use its knowledge and expertise to create service packages from which companies and organisations of different sizes and types can easily derive maximum benefit. The acquisition supports Protect Estonia's strategy to create a local safety and quality expert organisation that can apply Protect's service concept to the Estonian market.- Our internationally operating customers in Finland have asked for the possibility to use Protect's services in Estonia as well. The establishment of Protect Estonia and the acquisition of Riskianalysis' business support our objectives to develop in a customer-oriented way," says Protect's CEO Pertti Salo. Puustusmaa, who has several years of experience in sales and marketing both in Estonia and in international markets, will continue as CEO of Protect Estonia. Puustusmaa has had a long career in the logistics industry, where he has spent the last 10 years as a director and shareholder of Bullet Express & Logistics, which has grown into an international logistics company.
