Karoliina Sulkakoski brings entrepreneurial experience and quality expertise to the Protect team

In February this year, Protect’s team of experts in South Ostrobothnia was strengthened when Karoliina Sulkakoski started as a Safety and Quality Expert in Seinäjoki. Karoliina found Protect’s projects interesting and applied to join the company as an expert. The work has proved to be interesting and suitably challenging, but the best thing is the team spirit and the support of colleagues who are always available.

Karoliina’s strength is her holistic approach, her ability to grasp broad processes and develop them systematically. She has a strong background in quality systems management and in business she got used to solving complex problems independently. Knowledge acquisition, quality management and business development are his strengths, which he now brings to Protect.

-I have found working at Protect inspiring and rewarding right from the start. I have been able to start each working day with a good feeling. Karoliina enjoys the company’s varied and challenging projects and feels that she has been given a commendable amount of responsibility from her very first days on the job.

Karoliina cites the team at Protect and their great spirit of cooperation as the best part of the job. She appreciates the fact that she doesn’t have to do things alone, but is surrounded by a supportive and competent work community. The customers are also inspiring and motivating. For Karolina, it is a great relief that the sales responsibility is now in the hands of others and she can focus on what she does best. The work is so fascinating that it can be easy to forget to keep track of her time.

His current tasks focus on the broad development of quality and environmental systems and business operations. In addition, his work includes emergency plans, fire workplace surveys and risk assessment surveys, with a particular focus on fire safety and fire work.

– “One particularly interesting assignment is one in which I’m helping to develop contingency plans, focusing on situations such as water crises or storm damage,” Karoliina says.

In her spare time, Karoliina has been active in the contracting community. As a hobby, she sometimes ends up training new firefighters.

– “My 20 years of experience in the emergency department have certainly given me the ability to respond to situations quickly and decisively,” Karoliina explains.

Karoliina is entering a new phase in her life, where she can realise her dreams. Her children are now grown up, so she will also have the opportunity to focus on her own personal development. She is currently studying accounting and taxation at the University of Applied Sciences of South-Eastern Finland and spends her free time as a member of the board of entrepreneurs in South Ostrobothnia and as chairman of the entrepreneurs in her former home municipality.

Karoliina is known among her colleagues for her positive and cheerful attitude and solution-oriented approach – she approaches every challenge with a smile and determination to find a way forward.
