Mia Granholm as Safety and Quality Specialist  

Who started as a safety and quality specialist in September Mia Granholm, M.A. is the newest addition to Protect’s team of experts.

– “When I saw that Protect was looking for an expert, I thought that this role would give me the opportunity to fulfill my potential and put my education and extensive work experience in the retail sector to good use,” Mia says.

After graduating from Vaasa University of Applied Sciences with a degree in IT, Mia continued her studies at Gävle University of Technology, majoring in decision making, risk analysis and policy analysis. Mia’s specialties include quality management, process and quality management, policy analysis and design, and measuring employee well-being and leadership, among others.

– In particular, I’ve delved into decision-making errors, such as cognitive biases that arise under stress. I also wrote my thesis on this topic. In her free time, Mia enjoys working on classic cars and doing DIY projects. “There are plenty of interesting projects to tackle on the walls, floors, and furniture at home,” she laughs.
