Quality and Safety Specialist in Kokkola

Protect provides a service to its customers that helps them to act responsibly by safeguarding their people, the environment and their business. In this way, customers can ensure the performance of their business by preventing accidents and incidents and reducing their after-effects.

Our services include HSEQ expert services and the PRO24 system delivered as a Saas service. We have strong expertise in particular in fire, chemical, environmental and occupational safety. Our expert services also cover the construction and development of management systems.

Our offices are located in Kokkola, Helsinki, Tampere and Pietarsaari. Protect has a total of 37 employees. Our subsidiary Protect Estonia started operations in Estonia in spring 2020.

We are looking for new quality and safety experts to join our expert team in our services business in Kokkola

The work of a specialist is varied and you will be involved in development tasks both at the customer interface and within our organisation. Depending on the scope of the project, expert work is carried out either independently or as part of a team of experts. However, you will benefit from the experience and expertise of our strong expert organisation, supported by colleagues, your supervisors and tools that allow you to work flexibly and without being tied to a specific time or place.

We expect you to have the following skills or qualities

  • You will have a proven track record in quality, management, occupational health and safety or environmental and sustainability development.
  • You know the requirements of industry standards and legislation and have the ability to put them into practice.
  • You will be able to play the role of both project leader and expert in several development projects running in parallel at the same time.
  • You will enjoy working with customers to develop, spar and train them.
  • You have a degree in a relevant field, such as a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, or other educational background that you consider suitable for the job.
  • In addition to Finnish, the ability to work fluently in English and/or Swedish is considered an advantage.

The aim is for the employment relationship to start in October-November 2022 for an indefinite period. Your local office is located in Kokkola. We use a variety of remote and hybrid working models and everyone has extensive opportunities to influence their own work, both in terms of content and location. The salary for the job follows our salary structure model and is 3000-3800 €/month based on your education, career and skills related to the job you are applying for. The successful candidate will participate in a monthly bonus scheme based on the performance of the service business.
