HSEQ Coordinator

Protect provides a service to its customers that helps them to act responsibly by safeguarding their people, the environment and their business. In this way, customers can ensure the performance of their business by preventing accidents and incidents and reducing their after-effects.

Our services include HSEQ expert services and the PRO24 system delivered as a Saas service. We have strong expertise in particular in fire, chemical, environmental and occupational safety. Our expert services also cover the construction and development of management systems.

Our offices are located in Kokkola, Helsinki, Tampere and Pietarsaari. Protect has a total of 35 employees. Our subsidiary started operations in Tallinn in spring 2020.

  The HSEQ objectives for our current strategic period are related to the development of an increasingly holistic, responsible business. We want to be the best place to work in Finland and a pioneer in how a clear management system supports everything the company does and is reflected in business, stakeholder and employee satisfaction. To strengthen our own internal management team, we are now looking for an imaginative HSEQ coordinator to keep the wheels of our internal HSEQ operations turning. You will be part of the HSEQ team, led by the Business Manager. If you wish, you will have the opportunity to be involved in development projects in HR and other business areas.

We expect you to have the following skills or qualities:

• A proactive approach to work, self-management and project management.
• Rapid uptake of different information systems and ICT tools.
• The ability to inspire, guide and train.
• The ability to articulate and translate complex issues into clear descriptions and smooth practical operations.
• Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 27001 standards.
• Education suitable for the job, preferably at least at polytechnic level.

In addition to Finnish, the ability to work fluently in English and/or Swedish is considered an advantage.

The aim is for the employment relationship to start in January 2022 for an indefinite period of time.We prefer that your local office is located in Kokkola, but other offices can also serve as such. We have a wide range of remote and hybrid working models, and everyone has ample opportunities to influence their own work, both in terms of content and location. The salary for the job follows our salary structure model and ranges from €2700 to €3600/month, based on your education, career and skills related to the position you are applying for.
