Ines Koski as Safety and Quality Specialist at Protect
Our Tampere team was strengthened in January when Ines Koski took the opportunity to apply for the vacant specialist position at Protect.
Ines Koski, who started as a safety and quality expert, had been following Protect for some time.
- I got the impression that the company cares about its employees and has a good spirit of doing things. When a position that matched my skills became available, I decided to apply. I wanted to be able to apply my skills to other industries.
Starting a new job was the kind of experience Ines had expected from the recruitment process.
- Maybe even easier! The recruitment phase, initial training and on-the-job training were all in line. I have been well received and I am particularly pleased that there is always a colleague to ask for help.
Building management systems and developing safety at work as a core competence
Before joining Protectia, Ines worked as a quality engineer in heavy industry for a company manufacturing, among other things, production automation equipment. Her work included building a quality system and developing safety at work within the company.
- Contingency planning is also management! What surprised me at Protect was the scope of the work and the different sizes of assignments. This was, of course, part of what I was looking for.
- The best part is when you see how customers get excited and start developing and coming up with ideas themselves. Often the role of the expert is to guide the discussion and act as a driving force, making sure that the essential issues are addressed.
