Arto Björkman joins Protect as Sales Manager

Arto Björkman joined Protect as Sales Manager in January 2022. Arto is based in Helsinki, but that doesn't affect the pace, as he is in close contact with both the team and customers on a daily basis.

The newest member of the sales team, Arto Björkman, has strong experience in customer insight and relationship development. He has extensive experience in the financial sector, where he has been responsible for various development projects related to risk management, customer relationships and customer insight.

- Besides being a nice and approachable guy, I've often been in the role of the buyer myself so often that I think I can put myself in the shoes of the customer," he reflects. It definitely helps when I help customers buy Protect's services.

After working in development for a long time, Arto realised he needed a change. At the beginning of his career he had worked in sales and he found himself longing to get back to the customer interface. Before joining Protect, he had already gained experience in selling HSEQ software.

Protect's growth story motivates to apply to be part of the team

When he first met Protect, Arto saw the company as an expert organisation in safety, quality and environmental management.

- I am motivated by the company's growth story and how, by using expert services, client companies can take significant steps forward in their own operations. The things that Protect stands for are also important to me. It has been a pleasure to join this bandwagon," Arto says happily.

- As part of our growth strategy, Protect has also invested in growing our sales team. In the future, one of our goals is to improve the customer experience and to do this we need to better understand our customers' challenges," says Anita Trenn, Sales Director at Protect.

We help our customers to act responsibly by safeguarding people, the environment and business. Our sales managers' role is to find customers who appreciate the value our services bring.

- Whatever their job description, every Protect member is involved in delivering on the customer promise," says Anita.

The new sales team has a clear plan on how to feed growth in the future: "Growth will come from satisfied customers!", Arto sums up.
